Mr. Blue Sky – Co. La Fam Teatre
A show of people with TV heads inspired by the collapse of information, images and news that affect humanity
Mr. Blue Sky tells the story of how, one day, the human being rediscovered himself, after having turned, for a long period of time, into a sort of machines, of mechanized beings without communication.
The borders and technological barriers that separated people were broken and they looked into each other’s eyes again. They discovered the world, thus leaving technology aside.
This assembly, halfway between theater and urban dance (where televisions replace the heads of the actors), exposes the need for society as a whole to become aware of the influence of the media and, more specifically, of the informational collapse existing, despite which the human being is devoid of humanity and has become a mechanized being without communication.
The performance in question was nominated for the Max 2021 Awards, one of the most prestigious in Spanish theatre.
“Mr. Blue Sky is a show that invites reflection in a visually powerful and choreographically fast-paced proposal in a captivating street theater show with a strong message.” (Sergi Heredia, director of La Fam Teatre)
