The question we ask ourselves about Love for free has an answer: it consists of an artistic action, but we can also describe it as a sociological experiment. We are dealing with a fresh and original proposal that suggests new forms of relationship that shake and confront the individualism and emotional disconnection that governs our society.

How? Very easy, looking intensely in the eyes, hugging or even giving a kiss to any person on the street, a person we don’t know, but who will return the look or the hug in a generous way. And it is that cordial treatment with other people is the best therapy against bad mood or mistrust.

Sergi Estebanell directs this street show that will make us see that, too often, we miss some magical moments that life treasures, like imagining the stories of the people we meet every day or giving a smile to a passerby with a long face.

Estebanell, creator of art projects for social transformation, experiential theater and performance in public space, defines himself as a shaker, an agitator who believes in humor, surprise and provocation to make possible the impossible.
